- Our Accelerated Freefall (AFF)
Levels 1-7
This training
method is called "Accelerated
Freefall" because the learning process is three
to five times faster than with traditional programs.
The AFF method is designed to provide concentrated,
individualized instruction for the student who is
seriously interested in becoming a skydiver. AFF
jumps are made from 13,500 feet above the ground.
This
allows for almost a full minute of freefall for learning
and practice.
Progress through the seven levels of AFF depends
on the student's individual learning pace and not
on an arbitrary number of
jumps. This
program is structured so that satisfactory performance
at
one level is
necessary
for advancement
to the next. . Upon
graduation from the seven levels of the AFF program (the
average total number of jumps is 7 to 8 jumps),
you are certified to jump "without the direct
supervision" of
a jumpmaster or instructor. You are then well on your way
to earning your first skydiving license.
