AFF Level 4
On this jump, you will only have one instructor with you. The freefall
learning objectives are to relax and fall stable in
an arched position; maintain altitude, heading, and body
position awareness; maintain heading; turn and display
forward movement, control your freefall unassisted, and
wave off at 5000 ft and deploy the main parachute. Under
canopy, you will be expected to perform a "Square,
Steerable, and Stable"
canopy check, three practice flares, 1/2 brake turns above
1000 ft, cross control 90 degree turns, and locate the
airport . If necessary, your jumpmaster will assist you
by radio as you follow your predetermined downwind,
base, and final landing approach into the designated student
area.
