Jumper Safety:

Not just for AFF students. Pre-Jump Study Sheet. If you have any questions specific to your situation, ask the Monroe instructors. They are always willing to help you - no matter how many jumps you have. We're a big, happy family, and we want to keep you safe!

Monroe's Policy: Skydiver Privileges. Questions often come up regarding what jumpers are allowed to do at various experience levels. This list is drawn mainly from the U. S. Parachute Association's Skydiver's Information Manual and Instructional Rating Manual and reflects USPA and Skydive Monroe policy.

USPA Recomendations: Emergency Procedures: these will save your life, so study them regularly! USPA Advanced Progression Guidelines - recommendations for RW, freeflying, night jumps, water landings, camera flying, canopy flight, and more! The entire SIM is online, so study it regularly! Gear maintenance - Because you are responsible for your skydive, it is essential that you check your own gear very frequently! When in doubt, ask Joe, Gary, or another rigger. Once you have graduated off student-status, you should begin thinking about purchasing your own gear. Here is some more information to get you started.
